what is a good website to find flowers?

i am planning a wedding for a friend and i am not having much luck with finding shops for wedding flowers and so I need a little help with find a good shop or a good website to look up one i have two has anyone heard of them? the first one is Wedding Florist Denver. the second is Bouquets. i really need help with this so please answer my question and please no answering if u do not have an idea in mind thanks

How can I decorate the pews inexpensively for the ceremony?

I am on a tight budget and had not intended to decorate the pews in the church for the ceremony in Oct. But other people are telling me that it is sooo important as that is the first thing your guests see when they come into the church….. I am having 2 large arrangements on the altar. My friend used a spray of hydrangeas tied to a satin ribbon for each pew, but I am getting married in Denver and it is too dry for hydrangeas to hold up. My florist said it would be a minimum of $25 per pew and I would need to do at least 10. Do you feel this is important? Any low cost ideas would be appreciated!

Please give me some input on this brother relationship?

My fiance wants the ringbearer and flowergirl to be his nephew and niece. In order to do that, he must phone his brother who lives in Denver Colorado. He wants his brother to be groomsman also (this is the oldest brother, my fiance is the youngest and has two older bros that will be GM.)

My florist needs to know the attire soon so she can coordinate the flowers to the outfits. I also would like to know soon so that I know what to order and buy.

My fiance, however, is dragging his feet. He says he feels very uncomfortable and nervous talking to his brother. I said, why, is he mean to you? He says, “No, you just don’t understand. My brothers and I have never EVER talked about anything serious in our lives.”

I couldn’t imagine that…but of course I’m an only child and very close with my parents and we’ve had many a serious discussion…we are also very affectionate as opposed to the fact that my fiance’s family is not affectionate at all. They don’t do hugs…they joke around and that’s it.

My fiance also hasn’t talked to his bro much, seeing as how he lives in another state a million miles away from us (we live in the midwest.)

When I ask him to ask his brother to be GM and ask about the RB/FG thing, he freaks out! He gets really angry and tells me he is nervous and that I will never understand.

Can somebody explain this to me then? I am so CONFUSED.

The weird part is that he WANTS them to be a part of the wedding…so why the weirdness about asking them then?

Help with destination wedding in Long Beach, CA?

My Fiance and I are from Denver, CO. We have decided to have our wedding in Long Beach, CA (because it’s cheaper than anywhere else we found that has a beach) and we need some help finding places. We are looking at having the ceremony June 6, 2011, a Monday.

We want just a small shindig. Small ceremony on the beach (preferably at sunset) and then head over to a nice restaurant with a private room (perhaps one on the beach front) to have a nice dinner. As it stands right now we have 12 people definitely coming. I doubt the count would go over 20. There may be some kids coming too.

So we need a restaurant (we all like seafood and Italian but all suggestions are helpful!), an officiant, some information on reserving a part of beach for the ceremony, maybe a good florist, a dress shop (for steaming my dress after the flight), and maybe some cheaper hotel suggestions for the guest and a honeymoon suite for us.

ARGH! There’s a problem! Need help?

The florist needs all the decor and to know what we are all wearing including bridal party and flower girl/ring boy.

Here’s the problem:

My fiance’s brother lives in Denver, Colorado. He will be one of his groomsmen. Also, he wants to use his brother’s daughter and son as ring bearer/flower girl.

We are on a tight budget, and I don’t think we can afford extra flowers, as well as the dress and tux. There’s also the added issue of finding out what fits them, where to buy it, etc. for an affordable price (won’t do anything online)

My fiance feels uncomfortable even telling his brother about the wedding, because he lives so far away, and they only talk once in a great while, so it’s kinda awkward (even though everybody else knows about the wedding.) I also think he is dragging his feet because we are still wondering if we want a flower girl or a ring boy…so we need to make a decision before he calls his brother. He does 100% want his brother to be a groomsmen.

I’ve seen weddings done without the ring bearer and flower girl and they were gorgeous.

But I think he does want to do it, deep down. I would just like to know an easy cheap way to get this done then.

You obviously didn’t read the question. We are planning it our way, but we are debating on whether or not we should have a flower girl/ring boy.
